Mini Eden

At Velveteen Babies HQ I’m always styling up the boys rooms, and love kids room decor that is both adult and child friendly, with a strong element of design integrity.

I frequently re-style their spaces and love to create inspiring interiors for them. One of the amazing companies I have discovered is Mini Eden UK.

Mini Eden is founded by a mum, much like myself and is focused on modern, beautiful and bright children’s furniture.

I have used our mini Bertoia wire chair in the boys room, and in my product shots for a while now, and its been awesome. The perfect size for my 2 and 4 year old.

Recently, we have added a few new additions to our home from Mini Eden UK. First off is our Eames inspired rocker (£44) , which I am secretly upset that I can’t squeeze into! It was an immediate hit in our house and is well loved by both boys. We went for black, but this classic comes in blue, green, orange, red, yellow or white for the monochrome fans!

We have styled ours up with bright accessories such as our Doughnut cushion by Sack me! from, our OY OY adventure play mat, Grimms toy rainbow, print by Miniwilla and gumball machine by Kukkia at

We also styled it up in a monochrome way with our playmat by Ferm living, black and white lego storage bricks, monochrome garland from oursleves, bear head by Bonne Nuit, and cute penguin cushion by Chykaboo on Etsy.

Our other new addition is a brilliant hassle free pet, in the form of our Eames style elephant (£65), which is made of super sturdy polypropylene and is massively playproof. The boys lept on him straight away, and he lends a brilliant pop of colour to our playroom and he’s safe to use outdoors in summertime too!

The Elephant comes in black, blue, green, red, pink and white so you’re sure to find one to match your scheme.

This time, we have styled him up with our OY OY adventure matt, and also a monochrome rug by H&M. Our prints are by Miniwilla and also LaLa Land and raindrop garland by Velveteen Babies. We sourced our toadstool light from Deco Baby UK and Ferm Living tins are great for storing and stacking fiddly toys.

Our final new addition is our orange mini Verner Panton style chair (£42).

I love how the colour pops against the bold geometric lines of our rugs and is great fun, not to mention incredibly easy to wipe crumbs up from!

The Kids version of the Panton stacking chair or ‘S’ chair is a modern classic. Designed by Danish designer Verner Panton in the 1960’s this stylish piece looks just as good today as it did 40 years ago.
